The Lords of Lavaux-Sainte-Anne certainly knew how to live!

Visit this superb château and its exhibition about aristocratic life in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The displays will plunge you into the details of their everyday life: how they set the table, what sort of food they ate, how they managed the estate, how standards of hygeine and women’s rights developed.

Then move on to the Natural History Musem with its impressive collection of local fauna, then an open-air visit to the “Wet Zone”, an amusing and educational trail that allows visitors to observe the flora and fauna of the Famenne district.
