For over a century now, the main tourist attraction of the small town of Chiny has without a doubt been the descent of the Semois river by small flat bottom boats. Along its 8 kilometre route between Chiny and Lacuisine, you can enjoy the peaceful and wonderful nature of the Semois river. A boatman will steer you in this unique green setting sure to make any traveller dream as he drifts amidst a hushed nature, its silence broken only by the fluttering of a fleeing duck or the thump of a boat hook as it strikes a pebble or two. As you travel along these waters you shall discover the legends that inhabit both the rocks and the banks of this wonderful river.

Open during the school holidays, on weekends and public holidays in April, May, June, September and October (only by reservation during the week).
