Discover this exhibition on the occupation of the southern part of the province of Luxembourg during the First World War. From 01/05 to 05/10/2014.

Musée Gaspar hosts an exhibition that focuses on the daily lives of the inhabitants of the Arlon region during the Great War.

The people of the Arlon region were faced with a very strict occupation regime during the war. Even the smallest village was occupied by the enemy.

Most of the population was forced to welcome enemy troops into their homes, whether they were officers or second line soldiers, or even railway employees.

The exhibition tells of the difficulties encountered by the region's inhabitants on a daily basis, the relationship they had with their occupiers, their links to the front and even the activities of one small part of the population in the resistance.
