Be part of a family-friendly festival, as much for the inhabitants and the neighbouring communes as their friends. In Braine-le-Château from 12 to 14/09/14.

This theme for this 2014 edition is "Sur la route des Cathares" (On the Cathares road).

The centre of the village will be transformed into an authentic, entirely pedestrianised Medieval market town. You will cross paths with jugglers, acrobats, troubadours, minstrels, comrades, fire-eaters, alchemists, archers etc.

Lots of activities have also been scheduled for children, including a greasy pole, role play, adventure trails on the hunt for Robin Hood, the chance to straddle a wooden horse pulled by a knight and a folk ball just for the little ones, which will take place on the Sunday!

Also featured on the programme are, falconry, archery and blacksmith demonstrations, story-telling, magic and puppet shows, guided tours to the castle etc.

In short, there are a wide range of activities scheduled for the weekend.

A large folk concert has also been organised on the Grand Place on the Saturday evening.

There will be various possibilities to eat and drink on the site.

The full programme is available on the website below.
