Ommegang is a historical event. It is also a historical village and a medieval market in Brussels!

Discover pathways transformed into a real historical village at the Brussels Parc Royal.

Lots of activities will liven up this reconstruction of the beginning of the Renaissance: weapons, battles between knights, falconry demonstrations, etc.

There will also be a jousting competition...and that's not all:

Les Magiciens du Terroir (local food magicians) and authentic cultural, tasty gems of the region await you throughout this educational and fun-filled journey set up in the heart of the Parc!

Les Magiciens du Terroir

This event is aimed at presenting and promoting the excellence of Belgian produce and recipes. Over a 4 day period, 8 Michelin Star chefs from "Génération W" put their art on show from:

  • L'Air du Temps, L'Eau Vive and Arabelle Meirlaen,
  • La Grappe d'Or, La Table de Maxime and l'Eveil des Sens,
  • Le Château de Mylord, Le Coq aux Champs, Le Cor de Chasse and Lemmonier.

All have worked their way up to fine Belgian gastronomy to offer us what is considered the best in terms of tradition and culinary revival.

Eric Boschman, food expert and master sommelier, will lead the event and will share his invaluable advice with you to enhance your tasting of the "Passeport Culinaire".

Michelin Star chefs from "Génération W" will be behind the stoves. Each day (service at lunchtime and evening before the Ommegang show), the menu will change.

The Culinary Passport

This passport consists of 5 tasting recipes of local produce and will soon be available...
