An occasion to discover urban culture and this creative, innovative, unique and pertinent sector. In Brussels on 29 and 30/08/14!

Street Food Festival, Music, Dancing and Plastic Arts

Here, you will discover new trends in itinerant gastronomy, accessible only on mobile vehicles, such as lorries, vans, caravans, airstreams, delivery tricycles, etc. Each offering cuisine, such as:

  • Chang Noi (original Thai cuisine),
  • El Camion (innovative cuisine),
  • Il Sapore Della Dolce Vita (specialities from the Rimini region),
  • Mellow (frozen yoghurt),
  • Mi Vida Food Truck (hamburgers and hot dogs),
  • Sin Street Food (vegetarian)
  • Soul Kitch'N (oriental-style crêpes).

Where the music and dancing aspect is concerned, Alerte Urbaine will put on various podium demonstrations, such as slam, rap, impro, human beat boxing, dance-offs, break dancing, DJs and more!

And to end the day, a group of Belgian graffiti and street art specialists, Propaganza, will complete the programme with plastic arts!

Each artist has his own very specific style, such as trompe l'œil, décor, landscape, photorealism, abstract, portraits, graffiti, etc, and will have the opportunity to display and practice his art in front of an audience, giving free rein to impromptu discoveries.

Propaganza is also setting up a workshop to demonstrate the techniques of graffiti, which will be open to all ages!

The group, Costik will also show non-conventional urban projects in design, récup'art and sculpture.

Temporary structures will also be installed on cellophane.

Performances will take place among the Albertine trees.

URBANA PROJECT will present a global reflection around disciplines, such as street art, architecture, urbanism, fashion and design.
