Les Puces Nautiques - Flea Market & Nautical items in Brussels
Experience this unique event in Belgium: a flea market dedicated to nautical items linked to a general, traditional flea market. In Brussels in May 2015!
The "Puces Nautiques" were created in 1984 by a group of young diving lovers. From 20 or so exhibitors, this annual meet has grown to more than 500 exhibitors. At its creation, the event had aroused the curiosity of locals and a few aficionados.
Today, the Puces Nautiques attract more than 50000 visitors. For the last 30 years, the Place du Châtelain transforms itself into a nautical treasure trove, where boats, diving suits, surf boards, jetskis and antiques from old bronze rudders to atmospheric pressure diving suits delight curious amateurs and aficionados alike. It is one of the largest flea markets in Brussels: the Châtelain and Bailli neighbourhood welcomes second-hand dealers from all four corners of Belgium (to a 2km long market that stretches along Rue Campenhout, Rue du Bailli, Rue Faider, Rue Simonis, Parvis de la Trinité, Rue du Tabellion, Rue du Page, Rue de l'Amazone, Rue de l'Aqueduc) and the Puces Nautiques on place du Châtelain.
Bookings can be made at 33 place du Châtelain, 1050 Brussels (La Place Art Bar).
