Mobil'Art - Biennial Contemporary Art Exhibition
Biennial contemporary art fair in support of persons with multiple sclerosis. At the Espace Prémontrés in Liège from 27/04 to 19/05/13.
As well as presenting a great exhibition, the objective is to help people who suffer from this illness, in an attempt to help Life through Art.
Some 70 artists have been invited to present three of their most recent artworks. More than 200 works will be exhibited for sale, including sculptures, etchings, drawings, paintings and installations.
For the 10th anniversary of the event, Mobil'Art is launching a new installation by MOBI-RONES
MOBI-RONES are styled neurons that represent the support of the artists and celebrities for people with the disability.
These neurons, in the form of sculptures or bas-relief will have been freely created by artists and will the double signature of their creator and their sponsor - journalists, musicians, singers, sports personalities, celebrities...
All the MOBI-RONES are gathered together in an installation and are of course for sale, some by auction!
Mobil'Art confirms its position as an important biennial contemporary art event due to its choice of a venue that favours hanging up of pieces, the probity of a qualified committee, the rigorous and renewed selection of artists and works, the production of a colour catalogue but also the creation of an effective, well-designed website.
Its success is also linked to the large, eclectic range of prizes.
Free admission. Catalogue: €5.
Open on 1 May from 11am to 6pm.
