Filem'on is the film festival for children from 2 to 15 years old. It takes place at different locations in Brussels from 26/10 to 02/11/14!

80 short and full-length films are on offer for the little ones:

Not only will your children be invited to discover the 7th art and watch quality films, but they will be literally immersed in them thanks to the workshops and shows.

Over seven days, the festival will bask in a fairy tale atmosphere with magnificent decorations and a series of themed workshops and events.

Film directors from Sweden, Estonia and, of course, Belgium will be presenting their films during this 8th edition, so come along and ask them some questions about their art.

The 2014 theme is "WILD". Some films will be projected at the Museum of Natural Sciences and Filem'on will let its wild beasts loose on screen: ancestral nature, fierce animals and wild children.

In workshops offered, children will get the chance to awaken the ogre that lies within them by devouring films and bombarding directors with questions!

New for 2014: A untameable-teenage jury will judge the competition without mercy.

More information about this new competition will be released soon...

The chosen spots lend themselves perfectly to the festival:

  • Cinematek,
  • GC de Pianofabriek,
  • Everna GC,
  • Aventure,
  • GC Ten Weyngaert,
  • Cinéma Nova,
  • And Espace Delvaux.

Let your children discover a wide range of films and be carried away into a world of magic lanterns!
