Around 100 riders take part and form a torchlight procession, followed by fireworks at the Wavre City Hall, on 27 and 28/06.
Pilgrims are welcomed on the Saturday and Sunday for procession, which itself takes places along a 7.5 km route and ends at the Sablon where a big loaf of bread decorated with flowers is distributed.
4pm: departure from the place Beaufaux Polydore, in Basse-Wavre, passing through the countryside in the Dion-le-Mont area, participants will go to meet the pilgrims who have came from Noville-on-Mehaigne walk (30km)
Starting at 12pm, from Noville. The meeting point is 7 km away at the "All-Dion" car park (chaussée de Huy, in Dion-Valmont).
Around 6:15pm: arrival of the pilgrims and walkers to "All-Dion" who, at this stage, will have a snack. together, walkers and pilgrims will make their way to Wavre.
Around 7pm: arrival at the "TROC" establishment, on chaussée de Huy, Wavre, where they will be welcomed by City council authorities.
Around 7.15pm: departure of the parade through the city to the St-Jean-Baptiste church, where they will be welcomed by the doyen of the church.
8pm: the parade heads towards the Basse-Wavre Basilica where they will be welcomed by the priest, and will be served lunch in the Maria Pacis parish.
10.30pm: horse-ride with torches in the centre of Wavre "for those who wish to take part".
8am: mass for the pilgrims at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Basse-Wavre
8:40am: departure of the procession
Around 10:45am: blessing of the Wastia, on 34-36, rue de Namur;
Around 11:15am: welcome and prayers at the St. Jean-Baptiste church;
12:15am: return and sharing of the Wastia;
12:30am: pilgrims welcomed at the Maria Pacis Hall.
