This event celebrates the summer solstice with the sound of music. At the Archéosite in Beloeil, 29 & 30/06/13.
Enjoy two days of traditional and Celtic music and on Saturday night, watch the narrated show before the bonfire.
The festival celebrates the birth of the hot season and the renewal of vegetation.
Throughout the weekend, traditional tunes will delight the village.
On Saturday starting from 8.45pm, a rock-Celtic group will set the stage on fire. A story will follow the concert, "The Prince of the Dead", to make you re-live the incineration rites used during the Gallo-Roman times.
The purifying stake is then lit.
Try out traditional crafts!
On Sunday afternoon, all ages can enjoy mini-ateliers and get their hands dirty with clay by trying to reproduce Colombian pottery, make prehistoric shoes and be a Roman legionnaire for a day.
Throughout the weekend, a swarm of craftsmen in period costume will demonstrate how they produce their art and will share their know-how. You can also take a tour on the Gallo-Roman barges along the lake.
