Bozar Electronic Music Festival !
Electro music festival and electronic arts forum: get together at the crossroads of art and technology in Brussels, 20–22 September 2012.
4th Bozar Electronic Arts Festival!
While music is still a key feature, the visual arts, film, photography and new forms of expression, , at the crossroads between art and technological innovation, now have their place as well.
The Music for Solaris project (20/09) is clear proof. The Australian, Ben Frost, and the Icelander, Daníel Bjarnason, have composed a symphonic suite eponymous with the sci-fi classic. Accompanied by Sinfonietta Cracovia, they will play together in front of scenes from the film in the Henry Le Bœuf concert hall.
And that's not all!
Maja Ratkje and visual artist HC Gilje, from Norway, will give a concert with a light installation.
The English duo: Hype Williams combines performance with audio-visual experience, while Robin Fox will set his laser beams to music. And in his installation, rheo: 5 horizons, Ryoichi Kurokawa will offer us an endless loop which he follows with five projections, each with its own sound!
Not to mention the special space dedicated to new projects, a bar, workshops, and more!
In short, electronic music for all, and many other yet-to-be-discovered artists!
