"Pink Screens" is 10 days of pure pleasure, films galore, exhibits and evenings like "Pink Night" for open-minded spirits. In Brussels in November 2013
The festival presents films which offer new representations of homosexuality and alternative sexualities.
New this year.
In addition to the schedule that combines fictions and documentaries, short and feature-length films and reveals new genres and questions convention, the Pink Screes is linked with the Bozar and is once again putting on educational pieces at the Aventure Cinema (where a few viewings suitable for all viewers will also take place).
2 films will start the festivities and question sexual identity, desire and passion straight from the off: Joven y Alocada by Marialy Rivas and Keep the lights on by Ira Sachs!
Daring and rebelious, Pink Screens is the Belgian festival that deals with the many questions regarding sexuality with curiosity, honesty and humour. It presents theories and themes of homosexuality while exploring new and original cinematography, free of taboos.
Curious and audacious people are welcome and have a great GAYstival!
Organized by the "Genres d'à côté" (sideline genres) non-profit organisation.
