An iconic European Comic book figure; Spirou belongs to his editor, not his creator. It's a rarity worth discovering! In Brussels 23/04 to 24/11/13
Born on the 21 April 1938 in Dupuis publishing's weekly paper aimed at children, Spirou hasn't stopped evolving throughout the course of his 75-year existence.
In fact, Spirou has had more than 60 adventures published in magazines!
If his red groom's uniform from the Moustic Hotel made him famous, it also constitutes a constraint.
From Rob-Vel, Jijé and Franquin, to Yoann and Vehlmann, Schwartz and Emile Bravo in the 21st century, the 20 or so authors who have been responsible for telling Spirou's stories have never ceased to make him and his entourage evolve.
