The Christmas market is an unmissable traditional event for all fans of quality products and new discoveries. In Chimay 08/12 and 09/12!

Since the 2009 edition, the market is nestled in the courtyard of the Prince's castle and the Grand-Place, much to the delight of both young and old.

In a fun, family atmosphere, craftsmen, traders and local producers invite you to discover their best products and flavours. The traders of the historical centre have also organised a Christmas competition, with lots of great prizes to be won!

Chimay shows off its assets for you!

From 10am to 8pm : Christmas market, dog-drawn sleigh rides with Father Christmas, Christmas stories in the City Hall's old dungeons, alchemy demonstrations...

4:30 to 5:30pm and 6:30pm : Show by "Sapés Sapins" (a group of local entertainers).

7pm : Percussion show by local group "Z'Blam".

8pm : Torch-lit discovery walk through the city's historical centre.
