Discover the Castle!
The Franc-Waret Castle is a remarkable castle built in several stages in bricks and the local blue stone.
The northern section is made up of a fortified farm, with a draw bridge and corner towers from the end of the 16th century, which is connected, to the south, to an 18th century castle which is south-facing and U-shaped.
The whole site is surrounded by a moat.
The de Groesbeek family owned the complex until the end of the 18th century, followed by the Counts of Croix and finally the Counts of Andigné who live there today.
The Saint Remi church was built in stone and bricks in 1889 on the site of an older church from 1664. The old church's limestone choir stalls still remain.
Not forgetting the villages numerous beautiful buildings!
So why not make the most of the Christmas magic and visit the region?
