The horse, man's greatest conquest, has always been a model for toys. Discover it in Ferrières until 30/12/2014.

These toys were part of our parents' and our own childhood.

Whether made of cardboard, wood, metal or even (to keep up with fashion and profits) plastic, you'll find them all at the museum. The horse has always had a special place in children's lives...

It has featured in myths since ancient times and appears in the form of figurines and objects to pull along. Remember the famous Trojan horse, the oldest wooden horse.

Discover a large selection of toy horses

In the display case of room 2, the exhibition presents the evolution of our society in a fun and educational way using a timeline with objects, photos and texts serving as a basis for the presentations.

There will be a presentation of these toys.

You'll find lots of horses of all shapes and sizes to ride, pull along or play with.

From horses on chess pieces to lead horses and hobby horses... there are tons of objects on display!
