Euroskills Spa-Francorchamps 2012

EuroSkills is the biggest competition for technical and trade jobs in Europe. In Spa-Francorchamps from 4 to 6 October 2012

In 2008 in Rotterdam, Belgium won as many as 7 gold medals and 2 bronzes in 4 skills: metal covering, welding, IT and road construction. A prize from the public was also awarded to the Belgian hairdresser.

At Euroskills Lisbon, in 2010, Belgium won 2 gold medals, 7 silver, 3 bronzes and 10 medals for excellence!

In 2012 Euroskills will be held in Wallonia. A unique occasion for individuals and associations to gather together and give larger visibility to technical and trade jobs.

It will also be a chance to instil a lost passion for this type of trade to young people, and show parents and teachers that these jobs are a concrete solution to the difficulties of finding a profession.

The extraordinary venue of Spa-Francorchamps is the ideal background to the competitions, giving the event a new dimension.

Just as other first-class sport events EuroSkills 2012 is set to bring Walloon talents to the forefront of the international scene.
