Anima 2013: Cartoon and Animation Film Festival
2D and 3D animation, competitions, clips for all ages and much more on a giant-sized screen. That's ANIMA, at Flagey from 08 to 17 February 2013
This 32nd edition of Anima presents:
- more than 100 films,
- an "animated" night,
- and for the grand finale the Golden Cartoon prize ceremony!
Experience a unique event of its type in Europe!
But that's not all!
Anima 2013 is also:
- a series of workshops and "pro" (Futuranima) meetings.
Professionals, journalists, students as well as a large number of local children and adults...Anima is a must for all lovers of animation. Discover an enchanted world where colours and motion blend in rapid succession to the delight of all.

The Belgian judges panel will be made up of Kim Duchateau, Andrea Martignoni and William Henne.
Anima is also an invitation to see the world and this year films from Italy, India, Central Europe and Luxembourg are showcased.
In addition to this, there will be an exhibition dedicated to stop-motion animation.
Children are not forgotten during the carnival week: The festival has unearthed for them the most memorable films of 2012.
Futuranima 2013, the meet and greet session with animation professionals, will take place from Wednesday the 13th to Saturday the 16th February 2013!
Alongside this festival, the CINEMATEK will organise a retrospective dedicated to revival of French feature-length animations.
