Traditional puppet shows, Christmas stories and themed visits await you at the Museum of Walloon Life, In Liege from 08/12 to 04/01/13!
2 brand new shows will delight young and old!
To give you an idea, here was the 2011 schedule:
For the Children
- "Li Naissance" (the birth): legendary Liege figure Tchantchès helped the baby Jesus and his parents find a place to shelter from the winter weather,
- "Father Christmas has dissapeared" - Tchantchès attempted to find Father Christmas as Christmas Eve approaches,
- "The Christmas Tale" was a tale specially conceived for young children. It was the story of a little boy who, during the Christmas period, went on a journey of discovery....
For the Adults
Themed visits giving a better understanding of the customs and traditions of Christmas:
- "Beliefs and popular celebrations" gave an extraordinary look into the numerous Waloon rituals that surround the winter months,
- "Walloon dinners" was an exhibition allowing visitors to discover the foods and cuisines of Wallonia's different regions.
