Bal Mortem - Art and Death at the Liège Fine Arts Museum
Round off your autumn holidays by having fun with stories, a scary mask workshop and a visit/encounter. In Liège on 03/11/13.
The Liège Fine Arts Museum's collection contains numerous works in which Death is the subject.
Skeletons and other macabre dances add a little something to the museums masterpieces with their presence.
From La mort et les masques by James Ensor to La mise au tombeau by Paul Delvaux, Bal Mortem offers you a 'deadly' (re)discovery of its collections.
Free to enter, like every first Sunday of the month, Bal Mortem invites families and visitors to tremble before these works!
- 2pm - 4pm: Family stories by Tina Gentile, Léo Dolimascolo and their accordion
- 4pm - 5pm at the Créamusée: create terrifying masks with your family
- 6pm to 7pm: "La mort dans les collections du Musée des Beaux-Arts de Liège" presented by Régine Rémon, the museum curator.
