Short films, premières, documentaries, films, in short, around 100 screenings. In Liège from 25 to 28/04/13.

The patron of this 7th edition is Michel Galabru, the President of the jury, which is made up of:

• Maud Jurez,
• Sabine Crossen,
• Jeanne Bournaud,
• Yves Boisset,
• Yves Renier,
• Olivier Minne,
• and Michel Cremades.

New in 2013: The emphasis is on Italy this year, with great classics of Italian cinema, a focus on Dario Argento and a grand Italian preview evening.

But also, a Vespa Parade which will combine: a visit of the city, the Dolce Vita and the colours of this iconic two-wheeler.

Have a rare chance to get to know the less well-known professions of the world of cinema, such as, for example, foley (someone in charge of adding sound effects after filming).

Another theme to discover is Giallo, an Italian cinema genre, introduced by a conference by Dick Tomasovic. Famous conference speaker Jacques Dubois will present a film based on the novel by Georges Simenon.

The third edition of the "La Nuit Sera Courts" ("The Night will be Shorts") offers you a chance to dive into the fascinating universe of short films, with 10 Belgian and French shorts competing, and meet the films' actors and directors.

NOTGER remains present throughout the 4 days of the festival. A festive and sophisticated atmosphere is guaranteed after the projections and a special night is planned at the CADRAN, the new festival partner and hotspot of Liège nightlife.

Finally, the festival also gives visitors the chance to meet professionals of the world of cinema, which gives producers a wonderful opportunity to support or even motivate youngsters who dream of becoming actors or working in cinema.
