City Sonic is THE international festival dedicated to sound. In Mons but also in Brussels and Huy from 23 August to 14 October 2012

10th edition

New in 2012: City Sonic is in Brussels and Huy

The festival offers a sound trip in the city of Mons from 31 August to 16 September 2012.

Several venues in the centre of town will be transformed into installations and creations by a host of artists. There will also be a "new talents" section with a selection tracks by students (ESAPV Mons, ENSAV La Cambre, Villa Arson-Nice…) plus loads of concerts and live perfomances co-produced by the city of Mons.

With a number of exhibits, concerts, performances and thematic evenings, City Sonic will liven up the city from 23 August to 16 October. The Flagey centre, together with the Ateliers Claus and ISELP (Higher Institute for Plastic Arts) will be hosting the events.

Finally, the sound festival will take place from 6 September to 7 October in Huy.

On the occasion of the Urban Art biennial event known as Dédale, organised by the cultural association of the Huy area, City Sonic will be presenting a selection of sound installations.
