    Enjoy a sound and light show at Place Royale, the Balloon's Day Parade in the city centre and the comic strip festival at Place des Palais, in Brussels on 8 and 9 September 2012.

    • The sound and light display is breathtaking and transforms the Place Royale into a living comic strip. A unique and sensational show that combines futuristic audio-visual technologies and cartoon tradition. A world that combines comic strips, pyrotechnics and 3D scenery, laser lights and amazing sound effects.
    • Balloon's Day Parade will take your breath away! See your favourite cartoon characters in the form of 20-metre-high plus gigantic balloons in the streets of the capital! Surrounded by folk groups and brass bands, characters such as Lucky Luke, Marsupilami and the Smurfs await you!


    • All in all,The comic strip festival features exhibitions, guided tours around Brussels, concerts and workshops for children, book signings and meetings with authors, publishers, specialist booksellers, museums, and more!

    Not to mention the special expo at the BIP in which David Vandermeulen (‘Ric Remix’, ‘Fritz Haber’) will offer his own personal view of Tibet's work (‘Ric Hochet’).
