The Heritage Days offer you a unique opportunity to discover a number of monuments, public and private. In Brussels on 15 and 16 September 2012
There is a host of activities you can choose from, including guided tours, walks, children's games, guided tours in sign-language and for persons with reduced mobility, bike rides, exhibitions... you name it!
During the Heritage Days, take the time to admire these places that we know so little of.
Art déco, Art nouveau, Victor Horta, Paul Hankar, Henry Van de Velde, Paul Cauchie, Josef Hoffmann, Palais Stoclet, Bauhaus and logis floréal are just some of the multiple talents and beauties that embellish the urban landscape.
A different theme is chosen each year.
The theme is chosen in order to highlight a part of the Brusselian heritage, and is a unique occasion to enter private houses, companies and public institutions that are generally closed to the public.
By becoming an open-air museum for a weekend, Brussels enables visitors to discover the incredible architectural variety and excentricity which it prides itself on.
The theme for 2012 is the art of construction
