GRAND HISTORICAL PROCESSION OF OUR LADY OF THE INFIRM

this procession was created in remembrance of the deliverance of the Plague in 1092. The pomp of the costumes of the participating groups and the wealth of the reliquaries carried through the streets with great ceremony make this a truly remarkable festival. This procession carries the main treasures of the Cathedral through the town, escorted by fraternities and groups in ancient costumes. All of this in the company of musicians and choirs. A wonderfully sumptuous show.

Each 2nd Sunday in September. The procession sets off from the Cathedral at around 3 pm and return to the cathedral around 4.45 pm. Guided visits to the cathedral and its site at 11 am and 4 pm (in FR, NL and sign language).
