FESTIVAL OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE

This awareness campaign is an invitation to you all to play with the French language! Numerous (cultural) events organised by creators, associations, libraries, cultural centres, schools, etc. will bring the French language alive. There will be concerts, theatre, exhibitions, games, competitions, conferences, radio shows... This event takes places in Wallonia and Brussels.


For this edition, the French Community named Brussels: "City of Words". On this occasion, Laurent d'Ursel, partner artist of the event, proposes you 9 contests just for the fun of words. These contests are aimed at everybody, young and old alike or experts and beginners.
The 2009 edition "The Other Side of Words" will include different activities in Braine-l'Alleud, Brussels, Habay, Huy, Mouscron, Tournai, Watermael-Boitsfort, Liège and la Louvière !
