You have an entire weekend to discover what happens behind the scenes of your kitchens, and it's happening in Wallonia! On 22 and 23 September 2012
During the Open Farm Days, people from around 70 farms will be welcoming you and showing you every-day life at the farm.
You can taste locally produced products and purchase them directly on the spot. It just couldn't be fresher and healthier!
Tread the ground that farmers grow their veg on and get to see the live animals chomping away, where the grinding, mixing and picking takes place and where farmers prepare the basic produce for your daily food with particular care and know-how.
Agriculture has been a guardian to our landscape, heritage and rural scenery for 3000 years. The daily environment, the well-being of animals, the production of quality food is entirely linked to Walloon agriculture.
