The village of Fosses is made up out of twisting alleys and a magnificent square where a 19th century mansion arises. It houses the contemporary hotel-restaurant Le Castel. Gourmet lovers will definitely appreciate the refined cuisine. The chef uses local products to make the finest dishes. According to the weather and the season you choose, you have two options. On the one hand a visit to the Museum Le Petit Chapitre with 800 dolls in folkloric and traditional Walloon costumes and the exhibition on the Chinels legend. On the other hand a green trip along the Lake of Bambois with its birdwatch houses, walking paths, aquariums, water gardens... The next day you can go shopping in Namur or explore some culture...

Where do I sleep?
In a comfortable double room in Le Castel***. The garden with the swimming pool is a nice asset during the summer. The chef has a degree from the Geneva hotel school and will be glad to give you some recipes. Every third Saturday of the month he gives cooking lessons.
New: a few months ago, the Chef's son joined him in the kitchen, and now assists his father in the cookery classes! Please note ¿Le Castel¿ is closed on Sundays and Mondays (except when a public holiday falls on a Sunday or a Monday, or when a major event is taking place).
