Chocolatier Laurent Gerbaud, and his fabulous chocolates, will tickle your tastebuds in the historic centre of Brussels.
Everything Laurent Gerbaud produces is the result of his quest for original ideas which break away from the traditional flavours of Belgian artisan chocolate. Laurent Gerbaud, the chocolatier with new flavours.
His chocolate is beautifully packaged in boxes embellished with a red seal bearing the word "chocolate" in Chinese.
Little secrets from a master chocolatierLaurent Gerbaud chooses the best cocoa beans, just for you. The master chocolatier works with an exclusive blend of two different varieties of high-quality coca bean: the Trinitario, from Madagascar, and the Nacional, grown exclusively in Ecuador. These chocolates are married with high-quality aromatic fruits: oranges from Shanghai, figs from Izmir, pears from the Cape, apricots from Barrydale and ginger from Guilin.
The chocolate shopSituated on the rue Ravenstein, you can find all his creations, but also taste them in the Tea Room. You can also visit the workshop to watch demonstrations where chocolates and pralines are made. And why not organise a business incentive, a birthday tasting or entertainment for children.
Shop opening hours: Monday to Sunday, from 10:30am to 7:30pm.
Workshop opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm.
Each Saturday, Laurent Gerbaud offers a "chocolate workshop" for individuals, which include Mendiant making and chocolate tasting sessions. A unique opportunity to go behind the scenes for a sweet, chocolatey time.
