The Musée Oldmasters Museum of Ancient Art is a must-see in the arts quarter of Brussels.

Part of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, it has a remarkable collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings from the 15th to 18th centuries. The collection consists mainly of paintings from the former Southern Netherlands.

During your visit you'll discover masterpieces by Rogier van der Weyden, Petrus Christus, Dirk Bouts, Hans Memling, Jérôme Bosch, Bruegel, Pierre-Paul Rubens, Jacob Jordaens and even Antoine van Dyck.

The visit also includes an exceptional collection of terracotta "modelli" from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as a beautiful series of paintings from foreign schools.


Finally, the Musée Oldmasters Museum organises substantial temporary exhibitions, complete with guided tours and activities for all ages.
