Situated in the old Sauvenière baths in Liège, the Cité Miroir, is a space for exhibitions, shows and cultural expression.
The Cité Miroir is an authentic public place offering you lively shows, debates, exhibitions, cinema screenings and educational activities.
Home to the Centre d'Action Laïque (Liège Secular Action Centre), Les Territoires de la Mémoire, a non-profit organisation for the educating of resistance and citizenship, the MNEMA, a non-profit organisation created to restore old Sauvenière baths.
These three organisations offer their own cultural programme, in addition to permanent exhibitions such as, "Entre Galeries et Forges : Histoires d'une Émancipation" (Between Galleries and Forges: Stories of an emancipation), retracing large steps of social conflicts in Belgium, or "Plus Jamais Ca ! Parcours dans les Camps Nazis pour Résister Aujourd’hui" (Never ever again! A journey into Nazi camps to keep resisting today."
The Cité Miroir also welcomes several large demonstrations such as, the International Biennial of Photography and Visual Arts and the Parlantes, International Reading Festival in Liège.
Cité Miroir Schedule
The ticket office is open Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm.
The Cité Miroir is accesible for persons using a wheelchair by la Place Xavier Neujean.
