The Honey Museum, a discovery space of honey and bees, welcomes visitors on the site of the Relais de la Haute Sambre in Lobbes.
The Honey Museum in Lobbes features several exhibition rooms, an extraction room (complying with legal standards), a projection room, an entertainment space for the little ones, a conference room for visitors or beekeeprs, a library, several glass beehives, etc.
Discover its educational chalet: a protected space, where you will get the chance to see what the job of a beekeeper consists of whilst you visit a beehive.
July and August: Saturdays and Sundays from 2-6pm.
An experienced beekeeper-guide will accompany you around the various sections of the museum, whilst answering any questions you may have.
By reservation only if you wish to visit outside of these times.
We also encourage group visits: schools, nature lovers or companies, as part of the Journées Portes Ouvertes (Doors Open Days).
The first 2 weekends in June from 2-6pm, a extraction open to the public and spring honey tasting session will take place.
For information, please call +32 (0)475/26 93 46.
The site invites you to extend your visit by offering you a hotel stay, a brewery, a restaurant located next to the national forest...perfect for a relaxing day.
