The UCL museum is moving to the brand new L museum. A festive afternoon is scheduled for its last day, Sunday 6 September.
For this special last day, visitors will get a chance to enjoy new entertainment, creative workshops, behind-the-scenes visits, and all this for free!
The museum will then close its doors and begin preparations for its move. While the move is taking place, the L Museum (Musée L) will become a "nomadic museum" and will offer entertainment and events outside its usual walls.

On show at the Louvain-la-Neuve Museum
The Louvain-la-Neuve Museum contains a wealth of art works presented in an original way and only a stone's throw from Brussels.
The permanent exhibition space This space is host to a bequest (the Delsemme bequest), where works by great modern painters such as René Magritte and Paul Delvaux appear side by side with works from different cultures and every continent.
The rest of the collections are presented in rotation. These include art forms as diverse as engraving (Dürer, Van Dyck, Goya, Rodin, Picasso...), Belgian 20th-century art (particularly abstract art) and sculpture, from Antiquity to “primitive art” from Africa and Oceania.
Fringe art movements (Pop art, naive art and art brut) are also represented.
