Welcome to L'île d'Yvoir!
Some like to have fun on the waves, aboard their little boats. L'île d'Yvoir, situated between Namur and Dinant, is a terra firma, but is also in the midst of water that is enjoyed by many!
And due to this, it is the only Belgian island exploited for tourism. Borrow the little automated ferry boat, and journey into an unforgettable moment of relaxation.
This magnificent green setting stretches over 2.5 hectares and offers scenery like you've never seen before. The relaxing space and the island's terrace provide you with access to a wide range of leisure activities.
Paddling pool, kayak hire or electric boats (no licence required) are all at your disposal for a relaxing time on The Meuse.
The island's taverna restaurant offers you a menu adapted to suit everyone's needs.
L'île d'Yvoir is accessible by a small electric-powered boat (Yvoir side) from the middle of April to the end of September, everyday from 10am until late.
Did you know? L'île d'Yvoir can be hired out for free (providing that the visitors use the restaurant facilities) for all your private and company events.
Tourists will enjoy the "combined groups" option. Why not visit the island and other regional tourist sites in just one day for an unbeatable price.
