NATURE PARK OF THE SCHELDT PLAINS

This flat country near Tournai, Lille and Mons consists mainly of forests and humid areas. It is a mosaic of water flows, farmland and gardens. The park lies at the French border and forms together with the regional nature park Scarpe-Escaut the nature park of Hainaut.
