Unique in Wallonia. The museum is an educational tool for youngsters. In 7 rooms you will find the first Scout camp of 1907, written work by Baden-Powel, Scout constructions, posters, stamps, badges... This museum is recognised by the World Scout Bureau of Geneva.
Youngsters find among others numerous drawings from big comic strip names such as HERGE, JOUBERT, MITACQ and PEYO.The Museum also presents a comic strip retrospective dedicated to MITACQ with unpublished drawings from the "Patrouille des Castors", which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2004. Great for young and old.
Closed during the Whitsun weekend and on all public holidays.
Early season and late season: visit by appointment for groups possible.
Grous visits by appointment.
During the weekend the museum is not reachable by bus (TEC). The museum is at 2,5 km of the Arlon station.
Between 12 and 18 years: € 1,-. Adults: € 2,-. Complete commented visit: € 1,-.
