The MIM: a museum that invites you to wonder at some 1200 instruments and pieces in a stunning Art Nouveau building located in the heart of Brussels.
The MIM is one of the Royal Museums of Art and History and was awarded the Museum's Prize 2013.
The Musical Instruments Museum welcomes you only a few steps from place Royale, on the Mont des Arts - Brussels' museum district.
The MIM is housed in the fabulous Old England boutiques' building, a real architectural jewel from the end of the 19th century.
Your visit to the MIM
You will be transported on a world tour of music thanks to the 1200+ pieces exposed over 4 exhibition floors. This extraordinary collection has given the MIM its reputation.
The MIM is the perfect place to experience music. Thanks to the headphones available you can follow a themed route and listen to the melodies of the instruments on display.
What's more...
The MIM also houses a concert hall, a workshop space, a museum shop, a specialised library and a restaurant with a terrace that offers a unique view of the historical centre of Europe's capital.
