This building from 1786 in the former presbytery of Estinnes-au-Mont (2088 inhabitants) houses the Museum for Rural Life and Old Crafts. If offers a remarkable collection of typical furniture and old crafts with more than 5000 items. On the first floor you can discover the "Salle Danneau" which is dedicated to the hat trade, and the "espace Froissart" on the famous chronicler from the Middle Ages who was priest of Estinnes for ten years. The structure of the attic is also worth a visit... At the back of the building, you will see the flowery "Jardin du Curé", which gives access to the airy space of "la Muchette" (walking path, amphitheatre,...).

The museum is only accessible by appointment.
