CEMETERY PARK OF THE CITY OF BRUSSELS

This landscaped garden of 38 hectares, located in the town of Evere, harmoniously combines majestic paths and remarkable plantations, lawns, isolated trees, wooded ways and clumps. Amongst the remarkable trees you can admire very beautiful silver maples, Lawson cypresses, horse chestnut trees, red chestnuts, hazel trees from Byzance, plane trees, locusts, weeping willows, oaks, sorbs, copper beeches, limes with small leafs, cherries from Japan, ashes, yews, etc. Some of them are covered by mistletoe. Dozens of bird species, such as the barn and screech owl, the sparrowhawk, the nuthatch and even the green woodpecker, can be observed.
