The six towns of Bertogne, Gouvy, Houffalize, La Roche-en-Ardenne, Sainte-Ode and Tenneville represent a rural territory declared National Park.
Two fundamental poles determined its creation: the confluence of the two Ourthes, eastern and western, not far from the site of the Hérou (Engreux). The Fagnes du Plateau des Tailles's highest peak is about 650 metres high.
The park is located in the heart of the Ardennes in an area with plateaus and wooded valleys, splendid valleys, many little paths along the Ourthe and other little streams of clear water...So many assets than will delight visitors looking for a protected nature!
