Old convent of the Miner Friars: 13th century church and 17th century convent. Listed monument.
Different aspects of the history and folklore of the town and the region of Huy are on display: religious art, coins and seals, crockery and china, paintings, engravings, archeology, folklore, wine growing and "potstainerie" from Huy (pewter pieces). The climax of the religious art section is the "Beau Dieu de Huy", a masterpiece of the Mosan art made around 1240.
You can also discover original works - three plates and a strip - of Maurice Tillieux.
Open all year round by appointment.
Guided visits (with admission fee) possibly by appointment (French - English - Dutch - Spanish).
The office and the library are open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
Duration of the visit: 1h.
Free entrance to the museum.
