A masterpiece of architecture (20th c.) at a stone's throw from the city centre. The fifth biggest church in the world. Wish of King Leopold II, realized under King Albert I. A museum for religious art was recently opened in the Koekelberg basilica.
About 250 paintings and sculptures from the contemporary art collection of the Bruges diocese are exhibited there.

Every Wednesday, possible to visit the museum space of the Sisters Augustines: 2 pm until 4 pm.
The collection of the Museum for Religious Art can be visited on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm and by appointment for groups.
