A visit to the lift is full of discoveries: an huge engine room, a wonderful panoramic view of the site as a whole and its surrounding region, a film about the building and operation of the lift enlivened by animated models and interactive games, an exhibition of fossils found during the excavations and the interactive tour "Pays des Génies", where you can experience the greatest moments in the history of Belgian creativity in such diverse fields as art, music, painting, sports or comic strips in company of famous Belgians. However, visiting the boat lift, is also having the possibility to cross it by boat!

No tickets sold after 5 pm.
Boat crossing only on Sunday for individuals, from 03/05 to 14/09. Departures: 11.30 am and 3.15 pm (downstream) - 1.45 pm and 4.45 pm (upstream).
Difficulty of access to the boat for mobility impaired persons.
