MADMUSÉE (MUSEUM OF DIFFERENTIATED ART)

- Address:
Parc d'Avroy
4000 LIEGE - MAPS: Google Maps
The Mad houses a very unique heritage. The museum, where works are both exhibited and preserved, also has a documentation centre and organises various events on the creations of mentally handicapped artists. The Mad's collection contains about 1300 works made by artists who work in workshops such as those from the Créahm (creativity and mental handicap). These works have very different backgrounds both on a stylistic, thematic, technical and geographical (Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Australia, Japan...) level. One criterion counts for the selection of the works: the artistic quality.
