4000 LIEGE - MAPS: Google Maps
The Theatre of Dennis gave its first official presentation on April first 1995 during the first festival of the "Marionette" at Montegnée (the traditional art of the marionette of Liège is a very difficult art, because in reality it is a combination of numerous arts). Slowly, the Theatre of Denis has become a member of UNIMA (International Union of the Marionette), of the centre of the marionette of St-Nicolas and the free Republic of Outre-Meuse. Nowadays, the theatre owns some 400 marionettes from Liège. The theatre has a capacity of 100 persons. It was built by Gaston Engels and although it is very old, it is still in a remarkably good condition.
Museum accessible after the puppet shows (see opening periods). However, please phone.
Other telephone number for reservations or information: +32 (0)475/70 10 04.
Private shows for groups (schools, scouts, birthdays...).
