Saint Hubert Basilica

- Address:
Place de l'Abbaye
6870 SAINT-HUBERT - MAPS: Google Maps
A revered place for pilgrims in honour to Saint Hubert, recognised as part of the extraordinary heritage of Wallonia, the Saint Hubert Basilica will enchant you with its majestic and elegant structure. Several abbeys, which became more and more extended with time, replaced the previous ones in order to accommodate monastic life and the growing number of pilgrims. The abbey is a historical stratification of architectural evolution, as can be seen by the different styles, from Romanic to Gothic and Renaissance. The baroque facade of the 19th century contrasts with the assurgent Gothic interior, which is soaked in light and colours.
