The museum is partly located in an old customs house and relates the Battle of the Ardennes in the region between St. Vith and Vielsalm with dioramas of the real size : old military vehicles, models in uniforms, weapons, etc. and shows the authentic pictures taken in December 1944 on the spot - today a historic place.

Guided tours through the old battle camp with original half-tracks (unique in the Ardennes!), including a visit to the square of the famous ambush of 18 December 1944, known by a series of pictures, often published in books on the Battle of the Ardennes. Next to the museum there is a park with a monument, tanks, cannons, trenches (foxholes) and even a small Belgian bunker that was destroyed in 1940 !
Possibility to visit by appointment apart from the opening periods (especially for groups).


Free of charge for children under 6 years old.
