Come and try tasty hand-made products in the exceptional cultural and historical setting of a Norbertine abbey at the Bonne-Esperance mill.
Encompassed by the Bonne-Espérance abbey, which was founded in the 12th century, the mill, brasserie and bread shop are typical of 18th century architecture.
Come and discover
Get to see bygone facilities such as the oven, where succulent sugar pies are still baked every day, and the millstone that is still used to mill wheat.
Craftsmen liven up the mill's area with objects and lavender souvenirs, jewellery, old books and wood carvings.
Come and taste
Enjoy savoury beer and cheese at the abbey, rustic bread and succulent local produce, and if you're still feeling peckish, there is a snack bar with terrace overlooking a pond.
The mill operates on Sunday afternoon. Free visit.
Open from the beginning of April until end of September on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 2.30 to 8.30pm. Guided visit to the abbey on Sundays (same period) at 3.30pm from the mill.
Feeling like a cultural getaway?
Local guides will be availble on Sunday at 3.30pm to take you around a detailed visit of the splendid buildings with multiple treasures.
The visit costs €4 per person and starts at the mill.
