HOUSE OF WATER - P. DE BONVOISIN

Situated in Bonvoisin's former textile factory, the last existing proto-factory, the information centre of water presents itself interactive and dynamic. Multimedia processes, both acoustic and visual, plunge the visitor into a surprising atmosphere and the sparkling light of the Vesdre. Walk in the river, visit the infrastructures of the Gileppe dam, fly like bird are part of the show trail. Playful activities make young and old aware of the importance of water in our society and what's at stake.

Closed on Sunday in January, November and December 2008.

Combined ticket for "House of Water / Wool Museum" possible.

Access: Motorway E40 (Lièges- Aachen); direction Verviers via the E42, exit 4 Lambermont, turn left rue des Combatants, turn right rue Beribou, turn left to the pont Léopold, at the roundabout turn left, rue Lucien Defays; the second traffic light left pont Hubert Parotte, at the roundabout Place Saucy, turn left rue Jules Cerexhe along the Vesdre. Continue until n°86.

Children under the age of 6: free of charge.
